Remote Monitoring + Remote Alarm Solution
Adopt “analog camera + Network Video Encoder + remote client” pattern to set up a remote monitoring system. This system is unnecessary to monitor in local, only necessary to remotely monitor and alarm on client. Front-end devices include camera, pan /tilt, decoder, housing, bracket, alarm detector and sound pickup. Front-end devices apply to the capture of video signal, audio signal and alarm signal.
Requirements analysis:
- Require adopting “analog camera + Network Video Encoder + remote client” pattern to set up a remote monitoring system. This system is unnecessary to monitor in local, only necessary to remotely monitor and alarm on client.
- Image transmission adopts IP platform.
- Front-end camera can be fixed installation or PAZ control; fixed camera applies to monitor fixed area; PTZ control camera controls camera’s turning and lens’s stretching in order to monitor spot satiation with full angles.
- Client visits front-end image at any time.
- Client can record in local. Set, design record schedule. Require multiple types of video search.
- Client playbacks local video data
- Client controls front-end camera and pan / tilt.
- Client receives alarm signal from front-end, begins alarm recording.
- Support electronic map function, when front-end alarm detector starts to alarm, client map displays alarm point position, begins alarm recording.
- Client controls front-end light, access control and other peripheral equipments

System structure
System composition and functions
This system is composed by front-end devices, image processing & transmitting devices and network client.
Front-end devices include camera, pan / tilt, decoder, housing, bracket, alarm detector and sound pickup; apply to the capture of video signal, audio signal and alarm signal.
This system involves an image processing & transmitting device (NVS) which applies to transmit audio & video signal from LAN or WAN to remote client, at the same time, it can receive pan / tilt control signal and audio talkback signal.
Network client refers to customer terminal which needs remote monitoring. It includes computer (common computer or laptop) and client software. Client mainly applies to image display, recording, playback and pan / tilt control. When client starts to monitor, it is necessary to put in name and passport, authenticate identification, after passing authentication, remote monitoring realizes. Specific functions include:
Image display
- Support max 24 images display at the same time.
- Display any channel or channels video with single image or multi images, support loop display function.
- Each channel reaches real-time 25 f/s (PAL) or 30 f/s (NTSC)
- Continuously adjust brightness, contrast, saturation and hue.
Audio function
- Support 1~24 channels audio & video synchronous inputting function with high quality audio and without noise.
- Remote viewing with spot listen-in
- Each channel video and audio is synchronously stored; audio and video is in same packet without audio distortion for playback.
Talkback function
- Support talking back with front-end devices, calling party can directly speak without reply.
Record storing function
- Support manually record, automatically select storing disk.
- Recording speed of each channel is up to 25 f/s (PAL) in all-real-time or 30 f/s (NTSC).
- Support multi hard disks record in loop, need not manually replace full-disk.
Search & playback function
- Accurately search wanted data by involved hour, minute even second.
- Playback and record synchronously and mutual noninterference.
- It is available for video data to be searched time and event; video data storage is showed by chart in order to be noticed clearly.
- It is available to playback with single full-screen or multi channels.
- Playback with full real-time which is up to 25f/s (PAL)
- There are many different kinds of speed of displaying including normal display, frame-by-frame play, fast playback (2~5 times), slow playback (1/2~1/5), picture freezing & jumping to specified time play. Moreover, the size of playback images can be adjusted.
- When play-backing, system supports snapshot which refers to digital photographing and electronic magnification and print.
- System supports local client and remote client playback audio & video synchronously.
Control function
- Multi-channel control pan / tilt with all-direction. Manual control or automatic control is optional.
- Support the focusing of motorized zoom lens and the controlling of aperture and zoom.
- Support assistant controlling of light and wiper.
- It is available to control high speed dome. Manually set preset-position of high speed dome and preset-position of alarm linkage. Turning speed of high speed dome is adjustable.
Alarm control function
- As soon as receiving alarm signal, popping out electronic map, at the same time, automatically connect with video signal and linkage recording.
- Timing alarm on/-off
- Manually control warning, spot light and other alarm-out.
