1. Design requirement

In important zones of factory area install CCTV camera;
24-hour view & save data;
Installing alarm system around factory area, working with CCTV system, prevents and warns to intruders at night;
Camera adopts those cameras that are rotatable, auto zoom-able and well night visible & WDR, thus imaging can be finished clearly in weak light environments;
Camera server supports networking function, directly sending pictures to multiple sub-servers.

2. System designment

2.1 System structure
The whole system is composed by CCTV part and alarm part
CCTV system includes front-end equipments, transmission equipments, main control devices and displaying devices. Front-end equipments includes the monitoring area devices, such as camera, lens, housing, bracket and pan/tilt, they are responsible for capturing and processing data; transmission equipments include coaxial cable and cable for signal, responsible for transmitting signal to main control devices in central center; main control devices mostly control the front-end audio & video signal's compression or picture switching as well as PTZ operations; displaying devices mainly refer to monitor, real-time displaying pictures in windows, monitoring area and local memory.
The traditional surveillance mode (analog surveillance) divides surveillance and alarm into 2 parts with separately controlling, hard to manage whole system for managers. While nowadays we can get multimedia computer's help, and build a new controlling platform based on a DVR server. Thus we realize in managing video surveillance & alarm system together by a simple keyboard or mouse.
Alarm system generally includes alarm detector, transmission device, alarm controller and communication system. Alarm detector lies in the monitored site to detecting objects; alarm controller mainly cope the signals sourced from alarm detector; communication system connects with alarm center via lines.
2.2 Alarm point designment
As to designment for alarm point, firstly comply with monitoring objects' features. Residential area crowds many people, having below features:
People numerous, background complex, management difficult;
Daily coming and going people complex, and inter-households so unfamiliar as to appear leak in management.
Public activity area large and centralized, emergency incident hard to be expected
According to above features, fully control the gates & passage & Public Square of people landing, the vehicle park of property centralizing and the other basic installations for management in residential area.
Factory main entrance & exit: install total 1 fixed camera
Both sides greenbelts of main entrance & exit: install total 1 camera with pan/tilt
Open space of factory yard: install several cameras with pan/tilt, specific count & location undetermined
All office buildings & their stairways and lift cage: install total 18 fixed cameras
Enclosure wall around factory area: install total 13 pairs of photoelectric beam detector
2.3 System functions
2.3.1 Monitoring system
Watch-keeper can control front-end equipments such as camera, pan/tilt and intrusion detector, realizing 24-hour real time monitoring & PTZ controlling & precise recoding for main monitoring sites, key passageways and entrances & exits in factory area.
Main control devices are often used to record human activities and incidents, so as to be easy for manager's checking the truth.
At each monitoring point, the on-site cameras can fully monitor the objects activities, meantime managers in central center can instantly acquire on-site human situations; in mouse operation, monitor can also display any channel or channels pictures, controlling camera rotation and picture magnification, so as to get optimum effect.
With system linkage function, realize night intrusion detecting, alarm map, alarm linkage output and video linkage function.
Besides, main control system can be managed by multilevel. Via residential LAN network, estate management sector can know everyone's activities on their sub-controllers; even do some operations easy to manage in macro & micro.

2.3.2 Ambient alarm system
Install positive photoelectric beam detector system, including positive IR detector, alarm server, bus expansion module and transmission cable. When positive IR detector senses somebody intruded over wall (breaking IR line), it will send alarm signal to bus expansion module which resends it to alarm server, then alarm server warns (keyboard showing, acousto-optic alarm)
In time of sending alarm signal, alarm server also output relevant alarm signals to video monitoring system. Video monitoring system receives alarm server's signal, switches correspondent cameras to alarmed location, view and record situation together.

3. System main products selection & specifications & functions

To meet demand for residential area monitoring system and for device performance good & quality stable & price reasonable, we build up an optimized system according to the investigation on popular CCTV products and the consideration about various demands & factors in CCTV project.
3.1 Front-end equipments
Front-end equipments refer to those video recording facilities, including CCD camera, lens, housing and bracket; as "the eye" of system, the above devices makes real objects showed as picture which is sent to control center. Therefore, the camera's selection is not only the key to determine picture clarity, but also the most delicate product, such kind product must meet below demands:
Devices' specifications can suit to various environments
Device price relatively cheap, but cost-performance high
When device's normal wearing (e.g. camera's magnetic drum, motor), invalid (e.g. monitor), spare device replaces quickly.
3.1.1 Color dome camera
Adopt BN-030H color dome camera, high definition, super low illumination, smart shape.
3.1.2 Color integrated camera
Adopt BN-323QLI camera with day/night auto switch function. Function features: 1/4" Sony Interline Transfer CCD, SSNR noise reduction chip, IR CUT filter, color to day/night with IR sensing, color 540 lines, day/night 570 lines, color: 0.7 Lux / F1.6 (50 IRE), day/night: 0.1 Lux / F1.6 (50 IRE), photo-sensibility 0.0005 Lux/F1.6 (50 IRE), optical zoom 23×, digital zoom 10×. This model camera integrates dynamic detection, privacy mask and ID identifying function, a high definition & multifunction camera for very low illumination environments.
3.1.3 Outdoor pan/tilt
Outdoor pan/tilt adopts outdoor wall-mount model BN-5009WA, motor adopting the good and the stably operated; dual-layer convective ventilation structure can effectively cool the dome inner; dome lining adopts IP66 protection standard; top-cap adopts engineering ABS material, anti-aging, anti-salinization, hot & cold resistance, anti-acid rain.
3.1.4 Specified decoder
Adopt BN-8000B outdoor decoder, small size, nice shape, easy installing, strong function, adjustable pan/tilt, lens, light and wiper, compatible with multiple control protocols.
3.2 Transmission devices
Transmission system is responsible for transmitting video signal, alarm signal and control signal. According to designing demand, all video signal nearly transmitted (if camera exceeds 228 meters to control center, it is necessary to thicken cable diameter) by specified coaxial cable SYV75-5-2 that can block 98% interferences.
Both the system video input & output resistance and video cable's resistance are 75Ω。
Multi-conductor twisted pair cable transmits alarm signal and control signal.
Multi-conductor shielded cable conducts power for equipments.
3.3 Main control devices
Main control part is the whole system's "heart" and "head" also the command center. The normal functions include video signal displaying / switching / recording; control of cameras and their accessories (lens, pan/tilt, etc), alarm input / output, alarm linkage recording and network transmitting. So the selected main control device must be high performance, high systemization, multifunctional and easily expandable. IDRS-6000S DVR in this selection supports all above functions.
