- If front-end installs intelligent high speed dome camera, as soon as alarm happens dome automatically directs to alarmed area with fastest reaction to record spot event, which makes guarder be easy to verify event. By this way it saves manual managed time and buys time for warning deal.
- With log managing function, system can automatically save alarm information for later check.
- With IDRS remote alarm function, as soon as local alarm happens system automatically transmits alarm information to control center or other net receivers for alarm (e.g. local police station). Net alarm receiver will pop up electronic map with alarmed location; automatically upload & pop up alarm image; automatically alarm with recording; display & save alarm information; open warning light, audio dialer and suchlike warning devices, besides, it is operable to control local alarm output by remote client, such as open/close acousto-optic alarm or audio dialer and control switch of light. - Front-end equipment
This part refers to all points cameras, lenses, pan/tilts, housings and matched devices, as well as converting analog signal into digital signal then saving and uploading them to "IDRS6000S server". - Video workstation

Video workstation is mainly responsible for connecting all front "IDRS monitor servers" (DVR) and "IDRS net video sever" (DVS), and controlling remote image display, record, PTZ or receiving alarm signal. In the restraint from PC-self and bandwidth, one station can only remotely control & manage finite DVRs or DVSs images (max 24 channels by far), so if the front points are numerous, it is needed to set up multi-workstation.
- Central server
Referring to a heavy net-monitoring system with scores or hundreds of points, followed by related DVR or DVS increasing, control center needs more "video workstations" to manage scattered DVRs or DVSs. Meanwhile, In order to satisfy user, it is also needed to set up multi-level center, even to monitor different temporary visitors or clients. So if there is no a unified rule and "manager" to control all aspects working, it must be into a mass in whole system. In such a condition, our "central server" accordingly appears, playing the role of managing system. The "central server" is the control center and information authentication center, being in charge of managing main control devices (DVR, DVS, video workstation) and various clients. The affairs include all devices’ information log & registered authentication, all clients’ information log & registered authentication, and intra-system relations configuration, intra-system authority configuration, remote control & change for device parameter & settings, as well as resource allocation & objective service. The "central server" comprises of multimedia PC and "central server software", usually installed in top control center.
- Network client
Network client mainly refers to the "low level personal client" excluding all control centers but intermittent online with remote monitoring requirement and without video storing function. Such clients are relatively scattered personals with low monitoring requirement of remote view or control. Therefore, we put such kind of clients as "network clients" in order to distinguish it from those clients in control center. Network client is also composed by multimedia PC and "client software". Due to relative fewer requirements, it is usually operated with laptop.
