Labor Camp Monitoring Solution

1. User demands

This project belongs to labor camp monitoring solution. The whole monitoring system refers to part laborer dormitory, all factories floors, laborer dining room, laborer brig house and clinic as well as all guardrooms and the paths & key-positions near enclosure wall, reaching full safety precautions. Top control center lying in F9 (ninth floor), and sub-control centers lie in sub camps or guardrooms. Sub control center signal is transmitted to top control center through fiber optic cable.
1. 1 Main demands as below:

  • Each department sets up stand alone control center, through the existed network; all departments are centrally managed by top control center in F9.
  • Top control center requires to set up TV-wall function: 20" monitors (×20) + 42" PDP (plasma display panel, ×1); TV-wall requires manual switching and cycling switching.
  • Alarm signal coming from near enclosure wall can be transmitted to top control center, as well as activate recording.
  • Each control center requires to record or display picture
  • Top control center can call any front-end picture
  • Any IP computer can call any front-end picture
  • Camera selection requires considering real applied condition
1.2 Each part requirement details
  • Sub-camps workshop monitoring system construction

Sub-camps workshop 1-4 plan installing 4 cameras at each floor of floors 1-5; total number is 4*4*5=80
In Floor 1 of workshops of 5 sub camps installs 6 cameras; installs 4 cameras in Floors 2-4, total 4*4+2=18
  • Set up armed team monitoring system
Signal of gate A and B of #1 guard house, clinic isolation room and the monitoring points around guard house should transmitted to duty-room, setting up sub-control center
Around enclosure wall installs alarm detector which has no dead zone, requiring transmitting signal to duty-room; when front-end alarm occurs, duty-room will auto alarm accordingly, call alarmed pictures, meantime, upload alarmed signal and picture to top control center
  • Laborer dormitory monitoring
In 5 dormitories (20 rooms each) of 5 sub camps installs high definition cameras, so as to fully & instantly know dormitories situations (including laborers' living, sleeping. etc); control room lies in dormitory duty-room

2. Solution design key-point

Due to the complexity of system construction, system designment vitally lies in selecting the specific environments for camera installation, also selecting proper camera and main control devices so as to ensure monitoring effect.
System requires high alarm linkage function, having reserved port for alarm linkage, being able to connect with alarm detection system, realizing various alarm linkage functions, working with video monitoring system and forming into a stronger security platform, making monitoring much safer
System supports remote visit and IE browsing function
System requires top control center centrally manages all operations, so as to manage system by multilevel
As the vital part of whole system, TV-wall can only receive analog signal, but signal of control center is digital, so by using digital matrix to realize "digital-to-analog" is necessary.

3. Device selection

3.1 Sub camp workshop monitoring
At sub camp workshop installs fixed cameras. Considering night brightness and installation niceness, we recommend Bernee series IR cameras: IR color night vision camera (30m) BN-1330H. This product features waterproof & vandal-proof shell, 480TV lines, 0Lux, day / night switching, 1/3" SONY high Resolution CCD, IR distance 30 meters. There are total 5 buildings in sub camp workshop, each one forming a local system, connecting to main system via network. This product features 20 channels video input, 20 channels audio input, display resources 500 frames, recording resources optional, compression mode H.264. As 1 week for storage, we should install hard disks 300G×2 in 4 servers with 20 channels. In 24-channel server installs hard disks 400G×2, counted by 150Mb / hour.
3.2 Newly-founded armed team
At side of #1-#9 guard houses installs cameras, considering night brightness and installation niceness, we recommend Bernee series IR cameras: IR color night vision camera (30m) BN-1330H. This product features waterproof & vandal-proof shell, 480TV lines, 0Lux, day / night switching, 1/3" SONY high resolution CCD, IR distance 30 meters. At below locations install cameras: #8 guard house roof, east enclosure wall, west enclosure wall, south enclosure wall, north enclosure wall, left side of building roof; considering coverage to round enclosure wall and overlooking whole yard, we recommend specified Bernee series cameras for motion recording: integrated camera + outdoor pan/tilt + IR light. Integrated camera: day/night camera with IR cut filter (IR sensing) BN-322HLI, featuring 1/4" Super Had CCD, 480 TV lines, inbuilt 22× optical zoom, 25×digital zoom, f=3.9-85.8mm, 0.1Lux, auto backlight compensation, auto iris, auto focusing, auto day / night switch. Pan/tilt: outdoor full directional pan/tilt PTS-301, featuring rotation range (max pan 350°, max tilt ± 60°), rotation speed (pan 6°/s, tilt 3°/s), payload 38KG, weight 6KG, operating temperature -40℃~+60℃. IR light selects 100m IR light BN-H100, featuring IR distance 10 meters, angle 30℃, voltage DC 12V, consumption 30W, wavelength 850nm, weight 0.65KG, operating temperature -35℃~+65℃, light control. Armed team server lies in duty house in guard building Floor-3; monitor server adopts 24-channel DVR IDRS6024S-HC, 24 channels video input, 24 channels audio input, display resources 600 frames, recording resources 600 frames, alarm optional, compression mode H.264. In server install hard disks 400G×2, hard disk capacity counted with 150M/hour/channel
3.3 Laborer dormitory
5 sub camps of 20 rooms each, considering jail dormitory's characters, we recommend Bernee series vandal proof IR dome cameras BN-0320HFB, featuring vandal proof shell, day / night, IR lighting, 480 TV lines, 0Lux, 1/3" SONY High Resolution CCD, standard  comes with 6mm lens, IR distance 20 meters.
3.4. In each building installs a 20-channel DVR IDRS6020S-HC, featuring 24 channels video input, 24 channels audio input, display resources 600 frames, recording resources 600 frames, alarm optional, compression mode H.264. In server install hard disks 400G×2, hard disk capacity counted with 150M/hour/channel.
