1. Brief introduction

3. System composition

3.1 Whole system composition
This system includes front-end part, control center and net client. Details
3.1.1 Each transformer station should match with a set of front-end devices, including picture, alarm, fire signal capturing. All signals are transmitted to EM-DVS for storing. Meantime DVS transmits signal to local control center via specific channel.
3.1.2 Each residential area sets up a control center, total 3 residential area control centers of area A, area B and area C. All area control centers must centrally manage their included front-end devices (signal). Besides, according to requirement, control center can give authority to clients for their remote viewing, the viewed resources retransmitted from video site.
3.1.3 Net client must login control center sever, inputting user name and passwords, then begins remote monitoring.

There are total 11 transformer stations:
3.3.1 Front-end equipments: including picture capturing part, alarm capturing device and DVS (total 11 transformer stations)

  • Picture capturing part: 9 high speed domes, 40 outdoor middle speed domes, 61 indoor PTZ camera (or small dome) and 4 outdoor PTZ domes
  • Alarm signal capturing devices: 26 smoke detectors (6 units in cables), 12 pairs of Photoelectric Beam Detectors
  • DVS: total 11 transformer stations in area A, total 12 DVSs needed

3.3.2 Control center device of residential area

  • Central server: used to centrally manage all front-end devices, users, user authorities, configuration data, video site, map / alarm server, operation status tests and log record.
  • Video site: transmit video resources for net client, meantime, offer remote picture viewing, picture division, picture tour, PTZ control and networking storage.
  • Map / alarm server (TV-wall server): define all stations pictures on map with coordinate, easy to fast search; centrally receive various alarm signals, multilevel alarm map display, auto upload alarm picture, save alarm picture; according to settings, restore digital signal to analog mode, connect to TV-wall, used for analog monitoring.
  • TV-wall: using “map / alarm management sever” decoding function can restore digital signal to 1~24 channels analog signal; besides, using digital matrix function can switch TV-wall pictures. Temporarily set as 3×4 TV-wall, total 12 units of 21” color monitor.

4. System functions

4.1 Functions of control center of small area:

  • Flexible centralized storage & scattered storage

IDRS NVMS provides convenient & flexible storage solutions. No matter where cameras install, it is operable to centrally store video by one or more control centers via network. When system is oversize, centralized storage causing over-heaviness of network control center management and device management, it is suitable to integrate scattered front-ends storage and remote search & network storage; i.e. heavy stored tasks are finished at scattered local servers, and command center can remotely call & view video data, even make second storage in demanded, thus it not only affords storage task, but also release center’s burden greatly.

  • Centralized management

System via central server can centrally manage all system’s hardware devices and users, which adds/modifies main control devices of front-end, sets/changes device parameters, defines/changes inter-devices relations, and adds/deletes user, sets/changes user authority.
The only operation required to manager is that system info is registered on server, which will take effect in system with simplified operations, greatly enhancing working efficiency.

  • Flexible digital matrix functions

IDRS NVMS matches hardware decoder and digital matrix function both of which support TV-wall receiving 1~24 channels signal, and also provide manual switch, auto switch or grouping switch, not only meeting demand for viewing on TV-wall but also decreasing construction cost.

6. Control center designment and demand

7. Alarm system instruction

Burglar alarm system plays important role in protection of whole transformer station.
According to demand, there is an infrared dual-technology detector; in 35kV, 10kV install photoelectric beam detector; in protection room, main control room, equipment room, cable room install smoke detector.
When arm status opens, as soon as whichever area is destroyed, system will take alarm.
Alarm happens, system will at once run local acousto-optic alarm to warn or overawe intruders. Meanwhile system activates local DVS to begin record or links to light openness, so as to supply sufficient power for camera capturing picture. High speed dome will auto call alarmed preset, with fastest speed turning to alarmed position and capturing picture.
Mean time, DVS can upload alarm signal to main control center. With “Map/Alarm management severs” function, control center will display alarmed position and multilevel map, besides, alarm signal auto uploads and alarmed record auto starts.
