Equipment selection

Moveable indoor camera is recommended adopting all-in-one color camera with pan/tilt and decoder. Compared with traditional cameras "box camera with motorized zoom lens", all-in-one camera has features: high integration density, built-in high-powered lens, wider viewing scope; auto iris, auto focusing, easier installation; smarter shape, suitable with common pan/tilt; adopt SONY movement, good quality, clear image, high saturation; super low illumination, suitable for poor light environment; easier installation, fewer maintenance frequency; more charming cost performance. By far all-in-one camera is the most popular in moveable camera series. - Performance: They have same monitoring functions. But NVS without HDD and fails to save data locally, accordingly, it converts video signal into digits to network so as to be viewed by net clients; on the contrary, DVR adopts HDD storage locally, due to local viewing not affected by bandwidth, local video is real-time. Meanwhile, DVR supports network functions of NVS, able to upload all monitoring signals to network for remote visit and monitoring, besides, local client operation separates with remote client, standalone each other.
- Usage: due to NVS small size and most as singe channel or 4 channels, it fits scattered monitoring environments (i.e. among different regions or nations) which has finite amount and hard to set up control center locally. However DVR is mainly used when local cameras are excessive and demanding set up control center to fully real-time record & save, meantime needs remote network monitoring.
- Management: DVR supports picture browse, PTZ control and video record, but it needs place at specific room with definite person’s protection, which costs much cost. Thus for small size branch stores, adopting NVS is more suitable for them.
- Price: so far NVS has mature models of single and 4 channels, but DVR has 4, 8, 12 and 16 and 24 channels. Therefore, it is more economical for multi-camera company or store to select one DVR than select multiple NVS.
Needing to be pointed out is that network transmission is different with coaxial transmission and transmission effect is usually affected by network stability and bandwidth. So in order to get ideal effect of transmission, besides adopting good transmission device, we must try to select better network condition, by this way, stable and fast transmission will come true.
