What is a CCD Camera?
CCD (charge couple device) is a semiconductor-made kit, so it shows high sensitivity, anti highlight, small distortion, mini bulk, long expectancy, anti shake etc.
CCD camera involves the below kinds:
- Divided by imaging color
- 1.Color camera
- 2.Black/white camera
- Divided by camera resolution
- 1.Low-grade: image pixels as 250,000,000; color resolution as 330 lines, black/white resolution as 420 lines.
- 2.Middle-grade: image pixels between 250,000,000 and 380,000,000; color resolution as 420 lines, black/white resolution over 500 lines.
- 3.High-grade: image pixels over 380,000,000; color resolution not fewer than 480 lines, black/white resolution as 570 lines.
- Divided by camera sensitivity
- 1.Common type: normal work needs 1~3Lux
- 2.Moon type: normal work needs about 0.1Lux
- 3.Star type: normal work needs below 0.01Lux
- 4.IR type: imaged by IR light source, and illumination can be 0Lux in theory.
- Divided by CCD dimension
- 1.linch: CCD dimension as 12.7mm X 9.6mm,diagnol as 16mm
- 2.1/2inch: CCD dimensions as 6.4mm X 4.8mm,diagnol as 8mm
- 3.1/3inch: CCD dimensions as 4.8mm X 3.6mm,diagnol as 6mm
- 4.1/4inch: CCD dimensions as 3.2mm X 2.4mm,diagnol as 4mm
- 5.1/5inch: under developing, there is no normal product yet.
