LPR Camera & Highlight Suppression Camera
LPR cameras are great different with the traditional ones both on software controlling and application, even for the plate number monitoring requiring more professional highlight suppression cameras. The reason lies in that cameras are hard to recognize vehicle number accompanying ambience varieties: sunlight shining, sunrise, sundown as well as glared midday light. If shutter and luminous flux can not match with other functions, non-LPR camera is difficult to recognize numbers clearly. In the broad China land evening, some roads do not have light, so they need light compensation to recognize plate number definitely. Nevertheless, most vehicles have strong light at night and people usually adopt highlight suppression cameras with which vehicle light just turns black color but nothing more. In addition to low illumination, light compensation and phosphor, on the contrary, it leads to partly exposure of vehicles, vagueness or a poor mass. Thereby crossroad should apply highlight suppression camera to suppress vehicle light and make light show at behind position, adding light compensation, plate number recognition function has been perfectly revealed.
Due to LPR camera installing differently with traditional cameras, even most present projects are similar to the traditional installations which are improper, it is hard for LPR camera to show its normal functions. Thus besides the own differences of cameras, installation needs even more acknowledgement about monitoring area, and plate position in picture, installation angle & height also need much attention. Today one LPR camera should match to one driveway rather than two or even more driveways, otherwise, it is hard to show LPR camera' s functions.
