Half Duplex

Half duplex is defined as sending and receiving asynchronous, that is to say first sending or first receiving. Half duplex demands: sending and receiving can use same channel. It is applied in topology and local-area-network (LAN), and applied mostly in serial-network. The transmitting speed of half-duplex signal is as half as that of full-duplex theoretically.
