Video Signal Noise
Video signal noise refers to the numerical value of 20log multiplies the ratio between video signal intensity and noise signal intensity. The two parameters create at the same time and can not be separated. Noise signal is useless, but it can not be removed from video signal. Accordingly, when selecting camera, we should choose those cameras with high ratio. If video signal noise is high, image will be clean, no noise interference (main image shows snowflakes), looks suitable; if image video signal noise is low, image will be full of snowflakes, reducing normal display effect. Most cameras offer video signal noise (SNR) with AGC (auto gain control) shut. CCD camera SNR typically is 45~55db. Measuring SNR parameter, we should adopt noise measuring instrument and connect it to video-out port.
