Camera

Camera is used for monitoring spot objects. Camera is consisted of CCD sensor (core part), external sync signal circuit, video signal processor and power supply. In recent years, MOS sensor has a great development and it begins to be applied in some videophones or video conference which needs not high definition. Due to MOS's ability is less than CCD sensor in resolution and low illumination, CCTV system usually adopts CCD camera.

Camera can be black & white or color. Black & white camera has high resolution and low illumination, especially can image in infrared condition, so black & white camera stands most market share. By the way, usually CCTV equipments lists have no lens (except all-in-one camera). Therefore, in practical applications, we should choose proper lens according to monitoring environment as well customer's demands.
