What is a Housing？

Housing is the important component in CCTV system. It ensure camera normally work under poor conditions like dusty, rainy and temperature of high or low.

There are two kinds of housings.

The one is indoor housing, which has simple structure and low price. Housing is mainly applied to avoiding camera being dusted, robbed and destroyed.

The other is outdoor housing, which can ensure inside camera normally work under all weathers, no matter windy, rainy, snowy, high or low temperature. In other words, this kind of housing has functions of cooling, heating, rainproof and snow-proof. Besides, in order to ensure camera normally get image under rainy or snowy weather, it is usually to install a wiper on the front of glass window of housing. At present, the better all-weather housing is heated or cooled by semiconductor kits. This kind of housing has internal semiconductor kits which can auto heat, auto cool and work with little consumption of power.

Besides, there are hemisphere housing and dome housing. They are embedded bracket of all-direction adjustment and beautiful figure.

Housing is mainly made by aluminum, alloy, press forming material and stainless steel.
