How to Classify Lens?
According to the types of lens, lens can be divided into such kinds as the wide-angle lenses, the standard lenses, telephoto lenses, the zoom lens and the pinhole lenses.
According to the size of objects, the relationship between distance and the focal length, lens can be divided into fixed focus lens and zoom lens.
1.According to the type of lens (according to applications)
- Wide-angle lens: above 90-degree angle, the scope of a larger image deformation near.
- Standard lens: about 30-degree angle, can be used in wide scope.
- Telephoto lenses: within 20-degree angle, the focal length is up to dozens or hundreds of millimeters
- Zoom lens: focal length can be continuously changed from wide-angle to telephoto, the longer the focal length, the greater imaging
- Pinhole camera: for covert observation, often installed in such places as the ceiling or walls
- According to the size of objects, the relationship between distance and the focal length: fixed focus and zoom Fixed focal length: fixed focal length can be divided into non-aperture lenses and aperture.
- Aperture: the size of lens’ aperture can be adjusted. According to the environmental light changed, the size of the aperture should be made to adjust. The size of the aperture can be adjusted manually or automatically. Manual adjusting is known as the manual aperture, and lens brings own micro-motors auto adjusting, known as automatic aperture.
- Non-aperture: The fixed aperture or the amount of light is fixed, mainly used for unchangeable light or have own cameras or electronic shutter situations.
2.Zoom: focal length can be adjusted according to your needs, so that the images of objects will be larger or smaller.
- Commonly zoom lens: 6x, 10x zoom lens.
- Three-Variable iris and Two- variable lens
- Three-Variable iris: adjustable focal length, adjustable focus, and adjustable iris.
- Two- variable lens: adjustable focal length, adjustable focus, and auto iris.
