What is a Switcher?

During CCTV system, the quantity proportion between camera and monitor ranges from 2:1 to 5:1. In order to make fewer monitors support more cameras, it is necessary for video switcher to distribute some channel signal to certain monitor, which is also called “video matrix” as we know. Switching can be manual mode (opt for whichever channel you want) or auto mode (orderly switch channels according to preset, switching time adjusted by a button ranges from 1 to 35 seconds).
